We recommend shopping for your wedding dress 8–12 months before your wedding date for a stress free experience, and to allow time for ordering and alterations. Our gowns are made to order, as we are deeply committed to challenging over consumption, and favor a process that is more sustainable and ethical.
But don't let that scare you! For shorter timelines, we offer select off the rack bridal gowns, rush options, and many of our designers carry immediately available dresses that can be here in Maine within weeks.

We suggest starting your shopping 3-4 months in advance, allowing ample time for ordering and any potential alterations. This timeline will give you the widest range of options (re-ordering in different colors, sizes, or special styles).
-
We recommend coming prepared with your “yes” people! Those 1–4 trusted guests whose opinions you value and need to have with you to have your yes moment during your appointment! It’s a moment that can’t be replicated 🤍
Bras and heels are unnecessary, though nude undergarments are encouraged (leave the hot pink undies and socks at home)!
Help us keep our gowns in quality condition by avoiding heavy face/body makeup, oils, or fresh spray tans.

Our inclusive in store sizing ranges from bridal size 8–24. We will guide you through the best fit during the ordering process. Our designers offer bridal sizes 0-32+, as well as selection of hem length options.

There is ample FREE street parking located on Main Street, as well as additional free parking behind Main Street.
If needed, there is also an ADA ramp by the entrance of Thomaston Grocery.

In addition to taking full upfront payments, we also offer 60% down at the time of ordering and 40% upon pick up. Gowns must be paid in full before leaving the boutique.
We are happy to accommodate monthly payments with agreed upon terms and conditions.

While we do welcome little ones at Keepsake Bridal, we kindly ask that they remain seated with an adult during the appointment. Our Maine bridal boutique features delicate, white and light colored gowns and furniture, and we want to ensure everything stays in perfect condition for all of our brides. Thank you in advance for helping us create a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone!

No problem! Call ahead to ask - if we don't happen to have the exact dress you have your heart set on, we may be able to borrow a loaner from our designers with advance notice and planning. There is small and a non refundable loaner fee that we will happily apply towards your dress purchase.

Alterations are not included, and we do not offer in house seamstress services. We are happy to recommend trusted local seamstresses in Midcoast Maine who specialize in bridal gown alterations.
